Transforming how dad is involved.
Having 10 years experience in the Human Services field, I recognized that dads are often left out of the bigger picture, be it by choice or by circumstances that are out of dad's hands. It seemed to be that dads often wanted to be a part of their children's lives but were unsure just how to do so. From my experience, it seemed as if the uncertainty of how to achieve their desired relationship with their child and co-parent was apparent.
Thus, the idea of consulting strictly for dads was born. Having the opportunity to work with families in many capacities.... I decided it was dad's turn.
